These cinnabar beads are not made from the old, true cinnabar, but rather are molded red resin beads from China. True cinnabar is a red mercuric sulfide, very toxic and no longer used for jewelry. If you have any antique (heavy) cinnabar, treat it with care and keep it out of the reach of children, pets and anyone you like! Patterns are the same on both sides of each bead unless otherwise indicated.
Bead is approximately 28x25x15mm with a 1-2mm hole.
